An event every week that begins at 2:00 am on Thursday, repeating until November 2, 2023
Here’s How It Works:
- Each month, the Tavern will be featuring three different charities.
- Come to the Tavern any Thursday and get a wooden token (one per person) with ANY Purchase.
- On your way out, drop your wooden token in thecharity box of your choice.
- At the end of the month, we’ll tally up the wooden tokens given to each charity and make a donation to each cause.
- Most Tokens=$150, 2nd $100, 3rd $50!
This Month’s Charities
Stop Soldier Suicide –Three U.S. Army veterans co-founded Stop Soldier Suicide in 2010 amid the worst suicide crisis our military has ever seen. For Brian Kinsella, Nick Black and Craig Gridelli, military suicide isn’t just a problem. It’s personal. The problem is clear: the systems in place aren’t working. Getting help isn’t as easy as it should be, especially when you’re in crisis. Our Vision is to reduce military suicide to civilian parity by 2030, saving 2,400 lives per year
Wreaths Across America – REMEMBER the Fallen, HONOR those who Serve, and TEACH our children the value of Freedom through the sponsorship of memorial wreaths to be placed on Veterans graves at Baltimore National Cemetery on National Wreaths Across America Day. December 16th, 2023
Hero Dogs– A Maryland 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, improves quality of life for our nation’s heroes by raising, training, and placing service dogs and other highly skilled canines, free of charge with lifetime support of the partnerships.
